Always busy but the service is fast despite the crowd. The new truffle collection is delicious, I loved the truffle fries the most- such a rich flavor. I loved the regular chicken sandwich, it’s honestly exquisite. The chicken is tender and juicy on the inside and has a nice crunch for the exterior. The sauce they put on the buns adds an additional element of flavor. The pickles aren’t flimsy in your sandwich, they can stand a bite. Must try chain restaurant.
Love me some shake shack. It's delicious and consistent. Grabbed this one my way to the boat and it didn't disappoint!
Absolutely an amazing meal & atmosphere! Walter, Tom & Jeremy went above and beyond to make the experience incredible! We brought a group of 32 people and not only was it efficient but the best meal I’ve had in Washington DC. Make sure you stop and visit if you’re in the area- you will not be sorry
The Gallery location is the best Shake Shack in the city. It is clean, there is plenty or indoor and outdoor seating, and the food is always good. But what makes this location the absolute best? The staff! One time the burger I wanted to order wasn't coming up on the tablets, so I went to the counter to try my luck. The employee at the register told me they weren't making them anymore. I'm a vegetarian and have only a few burger options there, so I was visibly bummed. A manager overheard the interaction and came over to issue a polite correction. They had the patties, they just hadn't fully thawed. The manager said if I didn't mind waiting, she could put the order in for me. When my food came out, I found she had added a free burger to my tray :'D. This is just one of many acts of kindness and excellent customer service I have experienced here. I do not live anywhere near this location, but whenever I crave a Veggie Shack or a 'Shroom Burger, this is the location I choose. 10/10. Highly recommend.
Burgers, fries and shakes were delicious for these first-timers. Hit the spot after a morning of museum-hopping. Counter service was great and seating, while limited, was quickly found on the narrow outdoor patio. Definitely returning for another visit!
SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to Jeremy & Johnny for hustling the expo and knocking orders out back to back to back. Packed Thursday night with a capitols game and multiple other events. I’m here right now writing this review eating my very fresh food. All condiments included, told to have a great night, asked if anything else we needed even though they have a million orders to get thru. You’d think each customer was the only one in the house. I’m amazed. Best SS experience I’ve had around the country. Hands down.
The ambient was amazing. The food was spot on. Tee was always in motion and did one heck of good job. She made the experience golden. I do believe she is what made my experience one that I will gladly repeat.
Great experience at shake shack! The food is good - consistent with other locations. I love the chocolate shake because it’s a rich chocolate flavor. I would have liked this one to be thicker but I’ve found peace with this. The star of the show dining at this location was one of the team members, Jeremy! He went above and beyond from a service perspective and made the experience memorable. His demeanor was bright and positive and he was helping every customer in a notable manner! Cheers to him!
